ASN is about Giving Back!
ASN is about giving back to the world. We want to help action sports enthusiasts connect with local action sports retailers, shops, camps, parks, resorts and lesson providers. But we also want to use our space to highlight excellent non-profit organizations and initiatives that are working to make the world a better place.
As part of our launch of ActionSportsNow.com, we are honored to celebrate the Molly Fund, a non-profit dedicated to helping families with the financial strain of fighting childhood cancers. When Molly Rowlee found out that she had lymphoma, she was only five years old. During her treatment, her family was awed by the massive outpouring of support from the greater community. Although Molly lost her fight just five months later, the Molly Fund carries forward the hope and support that surged around Molly.
What Can You Do?
In celebration of Molly Rowlee's courage in fighting cancer, we have commissioned Kick the Cootie's Bootie t-shirts. These shirts immortalize the unique way Molly came to understand and fight the disease that ultimately claimed her life. It is hard for a five year old to get a grip on what lymphoma is, so her parents called it "cooties." Now we are carrying on the fight against cancer with these "Kick the Cooties' Bootie" shirts!
