That pretty much sums up our day. Stuck in powder surrounded by trees. Everyone had some amazing runs today. We basically went all over the mountain. Groomed runs to amazing tree runs in waist deep powder. Not much else to say except that Winter Park is epic.
Actually, we have some technical stats on our runs today courtesy of Phresheez, one of many new apps for smart phones.
- rode a total of 26 miles
- covered 23,772 vertical feet of terrain with a max altitude 11, 997 feet
- rode for 3 hours and 34 minutes today straight – that is a lot of powder time!
We rode from 9am to 2:30pm and decided it was jacuzzi time. Legs are sore, bellies are full, and now it is time for bed so we can do it all over again.
