Earth Day Recap with WeWood Winners

First of all, everyday should be Earth Day. We should be constantly challenging the establishment on how to improve the environment and develop more sustainable practices for the generations to come.  Now that I have that off my chest, lets check in with some of our ASN/WeWood winners and see how they enjoyed Earth Day with their new WeWood Watches.

Chris and his new (actually recycled wood) WeWood watch.

Chris Simmons picked up his new WeWood Crono watch at Hot Wax Surf Shop in Wilmington NC last weekend. Chris also received a $150 gift certificate which he was contemplating putting towards a new board, but hadn’t made his mind up yet. Either way, Chris spent Earth Day sporting his new WeWood watch and thinking about how he could make this world a better place.

Emelie Rota biked down to Surfy Surfy in Leucadia CA with her husband on Earth Day to collect her WeWood Date watch and a $50 gift certificate to Surfy Surfy. She also scored some “Kick the Cooties’ Bootie” shirts from ASN.  If you want to find out more about ASN’s support of the Molly Rowlee Foundation, click on the photo of Emelie below.

This is what Emelie had to say about the ASN/WeWood contest:

“Thank you so much! What a fun way to celebrate earth day! I’ve already sized my watch and I’m rocking it now… it is stunning. Thank you so much! I had so much fun participating in this contest!”

I started ActionSportsNow (ASN) out of the love I have for action sports. There isn't a time in my life that I can not remember being on a board and now having the ability to introduce this experience to my children is amazing. We do this because we love it and we love working with small business owners in helping them grow their businesses. Without them, these industries wouldn't have the culture and spirit that they do today!
