Good morning all! Go ahead and get your cup of coffee in ya or whatever it is you like to do in the morning then sit down and watch this video! For those of you who don’t know, Trestles consists of three different surfing spots at San Onofre State Beach in San Diego County, California. We got Upper Trestles, Uppers, then we have Lower Trestles, Lowers, then we have Middle Trestles, Middles…..this makes sense right? Just North of Uppers is the surf spot called Cottons, the location of former President Richard Nixon’s home, and south of Middles is the surf spot called the Church. The name “Trestles” comes from the Trestles Bridge which surfers must walk under to reach the beach, this bridge was just recently replaced in 2012 with a concrete viaduct. So this video was shot in Lower Trestles which consistently has the best waves of all the Trestle spots, Lowers is also home to the ASP World Tour surfing competition every year!! You learn something new everyday so I hope ya’ll learned a little bit from this post!! Enjoy your Saturday!
