Chasing Mavericks – Official Movie Trailer


Another Hollywood film trying to document surfing… Why Chasing Mavericks be a flop?

Chasing Mavericks documents the life of big wave surfer JayMoriarity whose untimely death in June 15, 2001 rocked the surfing community.  Gerard Butler stars as Frosty Hennson, a mentor to the Jay played by Jonny Weston.  The plot of the movie is based around Jay’s love for a spot he wants to surf called Mavericks.  Who knows if it will be any good… watch the trailer below and decide for yourself!
