Kelly Slater Talks ASP Tour Mistake

Jim Rome talks with 11-time ASP World Champion surfer Kelly Slater

Kelly joins Jim Rome to discuss his very first moments as a surfer in Huntington Beach. Slater talks about his very first pro event he ever surfed at age 15 and making it to the finals. Kelly states that there were over 20,000 people watching this pro event which naturally made him nervous and even somewhat petrified. Kelly became the youngest person ever to win a world championship and is now the oldest person to ever win a world championship.  Kelly has seen it all, surfed it all and has done it all when it comes to getting in the water and surfing, he is the greatest athlete the world has ever seen!! Long live Kelly! Enjoy!
