Episode #08 of Volcom’s “FUNTITLED” surf video series!
Ahh so as the hump day comes to a close, we all are ready for some swell to come through…like this swell in Barbados! Mike Gleason and Dusty Payne head down to the infamous land of waves to enlighten our afternoon with some stellar surf. Gleason was born in Long Branch on January 6th, 1985 where he was taught by his brothers, dad and uncles to surf at an early age. He is currently sponsored by Smith, Volcom, Nixon, Xcel and Chemistry, riding for Smith for 9 years now. Gleason says that if he wasn’t surfing than you’ll find him fishing!! Gleason traveled down to Barbados with his good friend, Dusty Payne, to get in an unforgettable surf session. Payne grew up in Wahiawa, Hawaii where he naturally was brought up to surf at birth. Payne was born on December 27th, 1988 and is currently sponsored by Volcom, Electric Visual, Nike 6.0 and Creatures of leisure and tells us that his favorite color is black. Payne likes to listen to Iron Maiden when he goes out surfing with all his bruddahs and sistahs! These two guys have accomplished their life goal to become professional surfers and to travel the world to excel in the action sport that they love most, SURFING!! Enjoy the video!
