Mike “Rooftop” Escamilla began riding BMX in 1990 at age 11 and has been helping the sport grow to new levels. In 1993, Mike’s attention soared to street riding when he was featured in Ride Magazine for the first time. Since then he has had shoes, action figures, featured in video games and much more made for him as he has become one of the most influential riders of the 90′s. In 2000, Mike backflipped a helicopter with the blades spinning on MTV’s senseless acts of video.
