The Tales of Teahupoo

The world’s best tell their stories of the almighty Teahupoo.

The village of Teahupoo can be found on the south-west coast of the island of Tahiti, French Polynesia in southern Pacific Ocean. This slice of heaven is known for the surf break and heavy, glassy waves offshore, often reaching to 10 feet and sometimes up to 70 feet. The Billabong Pro Tahiti surf competition is held in Teahupoo every year as it has some of the heaviest waves in the world. Some of the world’s greatest surfers tell their stories in this film with clips of them claiming their victories. There is so much raw emotion that one can almost sense the excitement and thrill through the computer screen, this is a one of a kind video! Enjoy the tales of Teahupoo!
