The Pre-Flight Inspection Guide


Inspecting and repairing your kiteboarding equipment before you take off can go a long way!

So before you get on your high horse and begin kiteboarding, there are a couple things you should check before you do so. Check out this list of things that are imperative for a successful kiteboarding adventure…or if you don’t like reading, you can check out the cool informational video!

Airlock valve / o-ring check
Visual canopy inspection
Leading edge and strut bladder check
Bridle and pulley inspection
Control system check
Flying line quality / integrity
Line length / bar tuning
Fly line connector inspection
Safety system (QRI & QR2) test
CAS trim strap adjustment check
Board mounting hardware tighten
Deck, fin and rail inspection
